Resume Closure
A resume always needs a closing section to notify the reader the document is complete. Using “references available upon request” is not an option. According to the top three career management associations in the United States, it has been deemed outdated and useless. Fear not, there are several options in developing this section:
For example, you may create a credentials portion and detail one aspect of from your degrees, certi- fications, training, presentations, or publications. Additionally, you may decide to include your affilia- tions, as long as they are job related.
In the case you don’t have any information specifically designed or fitting as a closure, use a visual symbol to inform the reader the document is complete.
In this capacity, a line or three symbols inserted side by side will do the trick. This way, the reader won’t search for additional pages that don’t exist.
