I wouldn't personally unless there was good incentive to leave (as in, more money or better benefits or fewer hours or a better manager). putting in more years at one company will net you better benefits in the long term. more robust 401k options, more vacation time, more seniority in comparison to your coworkers

You can try going to the Bank of America website and searching for the jobs, but since BOA is actually buying out LaSalle, all they're going to do is change all the buildings and such, leaving all the employees there or even eliminating jobs in MI by transferring experienced people from other branches in the US.

When banks buy other banks, all the bigger bank really wants is the deposit money and new building locations. Best thing you can do is go through their website and try your luck with that... or you could actually try to get hired at LaSalle by going to LaSalle's website before the sale is finalized so that you'll already be there when it all starts happening.
