I'd suggest a very open and honest discussion with her. Find out what her feelings are about the future and if you have a starring role. But *don't* ask her in such a way that seems you're looking for anything etched in granite. If she's wishy washy about things, then definitely take the job. Actually, I'd suggest taking the job regardless since you may not have such an opportunity again. The long distance aspect of things wouldn't last *forever*...presumably...so if it works, great! If it doesn't, than the relationship probably wouldn't have worked for the long haul anyway.
