Which Univ to Choose for Master of Finance in Australia ?We Answered:
From the 3 universities, it's definitely Curtin University for me.I can't say for sure how good is the quality of their finance master degree. But I heard their MBA is one of the best in Australia, and Curtin is famous for their commerce degree (both undergradute and postgraduate).
Consider which city you like, the tuition fees, living expenses, and also course structure.
have you consider UNSW, Macquire Uni, University of Melbourne into your list? they are good uni too.
are you planning to work in Aus? if yes, I think it's worth it.
hope this help

Do i stay or should i go?We Answered:
It seems a pity to be leaving Australia just before summer starts - think long hot days spent at the beach, afternoons BBQs & beer , Sunday sessions in the garden bar. However, I suppose without the money, it will be pretty hard to enjoy all those. If you have applied for approx 150 jobs and no bites, you need to realistically ask yourself whether a job is going to show up if you stay. Although saying that, depending on what kind of work you are looking for, there is generally some seasonal jobs for the Christmas rush.
Whatever you decide, good luck.

Advice for career in finance industry!?We Answered:
I work in the financial services industry in NY. Double degrees are interesting to see on a resume, but only if you can keep up a good GPA, which is even more important. (Not sure what the grading system is in Australia.)More and more, banks are looking for non traditional majors to add academic diversity and different ways of thinking. So we look for liberal arts, engineering, mathematics, language majors, etc. in addition to business majors. We've even hired some health management majors. Any major will do, as long as you are versed in the basics of the markets and accounting principals.
Personally if I had to choose between marketing and economics, I'd pick economics. The principles apply to so many different roles within a bank that you won't regret it.
It's also good to get examples of teamwork on your resume, as many banks are looking for your ability to work on teams. This can be academic examples, sports examples, etc. Leadership examples are also important, so stay involved.
Good luck!
