Banking Jobs Sydney

Pearl Said:

traveling to oz in sep, sydney first, hav got my working visa,is it easy enough to find a job once i get there?

We Answered:

You do not NEED to open a bank account before you arrive, but you can if you wish.

A few of the Banks have a facility to open an account from overseas, but you cannot make any withdrawals until you arrive and identify yourself. These accounts are usually aimed at Migrants though.

"Most banks will require you to visit the branch that you opened the account at, to identify yourself and activate the new account. Identification, mainly during the first 6 weeks, normally consists of your Passport, and proof of an Australian address. After this initial period, you will need more forms of Identification. "

Depending on what visa you have, I suggest checking with immigration, that you will be allowed in, with just a one way ticket.

i m applying Masters in Fin from Univ of W Sydney.Want to know the prospect & demand after the completion?

We Answered:

You will be unlikely to be able to gain residency in Australia once you have the degree since that career is not on the critical skills list. Getting a degree in Australia doesnt give you PR anymore.

Your better bet would be to get a position in a bank in India that has a branch in Australia and transfer on a work sponsored visa.

What is a comfortable salary for 2 in Sydney?

We Answered:

As a starting salary it is pretty reasonable, many newcomers aim to get increases after they have settled in here.

Does that salary include the 9% super, or will that be on top of your figures?

You can compare your salary at the Hayes Online Salary survey at: http://www.hays.com.au/salary/default.as…

Carol Said:

We Answered:

If you are in Sydney, NS Canada, you can go to your local Service Canada office and they will direct you to the right place to have this done.
