Sales or marketing jobs with a chemistry degree??HELP?We Answered:
You'd probably be able to get a job as a sales rep for a chemical or pharma company; they'd appreciate your education and background. With the exception of entry-level positions, in marketing and finance, you won't get very far without a specialized degree.Brenda Said:
What is a type of banking job that will get me out of the office doing sales? We Answered:
Become a loan officer that makes calls on clients. Commercial lending of some type would probably be best. My brother is an agricultural lender and hes out of the office all the time.Guy Said:
are IT sales jobs in UK a scam ?We Answered:
They are borderline scams. They want you to sit by the phone all day to generate leads but no reputable company hires IT in this manner. You are going to have to switch to true IT jobs instead of IT sales..Vincent Said:

Any personal experience about assessment when applying for the job of Banking Service & Sales Representative? We Answered:
For starters you will be asked alot of questions such as what would you do with an irate client. How would you talk to a client about keeping there money with us if another bank has higher rates (Sell personalized service & any other benefits the bank has). Role play may be how you open an account. Talking to old people about there CDs and rates. How to get people to see the Financal advisor/Insurance advisor/or Mortgage advisor. How much you cross sell is very important. If they have only a checking account how to get them to open a savings account. If they have only credit card how cross sell a personal loan or insurance policy. (or anything else they have to fill a quota for).As for the job itself it is a good job & you may be working in a branch environment. If your coworker / managers are nice it can even be fun. It will wear on you as far as constant customers asking about bounce(returned) Checks. High fees. Checks not clearing when they want it to. And just plain old arrogant customers. The job will help your resume. Pay depending on the location can be $35-$45,000 a year. But banks are tring to be cheaper now. Commissions does depend on you do and what the bank give per account/application/loan. Can be as much as $20,000 extra.Hard Work thou. Try to hold on an apply for a higher position that you like.May take at least a year. Get to Know the company and coworkers in other departments. The real money is made in investments and loans. Check to see where else to. Sadly only a few people make a lot of money working in a Bank Branch. Also you may have to earn an insurance lic to. Depends on the company and state yor in.
Hope this wasnt to long
good luck
