Unfortunately it could well affect your chances of getting the job. I don't know about Barclays, but I was told by my boss at the Post Office that people who have been declared bankrupt cannot get a job at the Post Office, I would imagine it would be the same at a bank.

1. General surliness
2. Incompetence
3. Not being able to tie a tie
4. Stupid spikey hair &
5. Never actually being at your window - especially during times when people use banks ; like lunchbreaks for example.

Yes that sound about right.
When I worked for Barclays I was earning £12k as a B3 in their HQ back in 2003, and at that time a B1 earned £8K (without london weighting) so it should be about that now.

You can try it. But I wouldn't tell them that I was borrowing money for a boob job. Instead, I'd say that I'd like to buy a car or something like that - that doesn't make any difference really.
