Mr. Samak Sunthonawet is a poor choice for prime minister, for most of the reasons you mention. It's ironic that Samak will become prime minister from the PPP party. In the 1980s, during the crackdown on the democracy protests, he was firmly on the military/royalist side. Now, he is leading the party of Thaksin, who is certainly no friend of the military or royalists. Samak is quite the political chameleon
But I'm not sure Samak will be Thaksin's proxy. I don't think the military/royalist side will allow Thaksin to regain his former influence - he still faces corruption charges, a likely ban from politics, etc. And Samak is too clever and cynical a politician to be anyone's puppet. I think Samak will use Thaksin. He will use Thaksin's image to maintain the support of the countryside, but he will keep Thaksin far from the center of power.
In any case, Thaksin, Samak, and the PPP/TRT are really not the problem -- they are just symptoms of the problem. Sure, they are corrupt, but they win elections because they give the majority of Thai people, who are poor, a slightly larger share of the economic pie than they got previously.
The root of the problem is that Thailand remains stuck in a sort of neo-feudalist system, with a handful of influential families (including the Crown Property Bureau), owning much of the country and running it for their own benefit. Until this changes, and as long as Thailand has elections, a cynical populist like Thaksin is, unfortunately, likely to win every time.`

There is no such thing as MBA in Banking. The MBA is a Master in Business Administration. It trains you for management position at any level up to CEO. You can get an MS in banking or finance. You don't waste money getting an MBA. But it's your decision. In the long run, it pays off. To find the right MBA program, use the Official MBA Guide, a free public service.Kent Said:
Which job would be more beneficial towards the future? We Answered:
An assistant manager is a better job as compared with a bank teller which is boring. An assistant manager can use the knowledges of both business administration and marketing. On the other hand, marketing is more interesting than business administration.

whats the best route to take for my career? please help!?We Answered:
Military experience may help you get into the FBI but you do not need to have it to get into the FBI. A CPA or a masters degree may help you more. I would talk to a guidance councellor at your school.
