Carole Said:

is investment banking the best career option for finance professionals?

We Answered:

Most people like it because they make so much money, work with smart people, like the challenge and enjoy the prestige. However, most people who aren't in IB would say that its not worth it for how much you have to work.

Hope that helps, you can always find out more about it by googling "Investment Banking Career" or something like that.

There are many other careers in finance that offer a less stressful and demanding environment then IB, I'd research careers in commercial banking, corporate finance, investment management, etc. to see what works for you.
