well unfortunately the financial sector doesnt seem to be doing that hot, but beyond that, english majors can always be used to do various forms of editing and checking, technical writing, creating proposals things of that nature. really what you need is a degree in finance or business, luckily you dont have to be super invested in your grad school field of study. obviously you might have to take a few classes, but you can still get an MBA even if you have no business undergrad experience.

Which ever Bank, give you an opportunity first, you shall join that, and after gaining 2-3 yrs experience you may switch over to any other Bank, which ever give the biggest leap.
