If you have a college degree or (are working on one) I strongly recommend you apply for a wholesale banking training program within a bank.

Wells Fargo has a training program called "FAP" Finanacial Analyst Program. I know Bank of America does something similar.

If you start off as a teller, it will take YEARS to move anywhere.

In my opinion, if you are determined to do it, just do it, if its possible to do it in spare time, would be better, if not, get down to it, what do we regret to do what we want?

I think Age is not the point, even in a cmopetitive world, people with good experiense is high valued, but creative people full of good innovative ideas is more than that.

I am from Padre Electronics(major in construction security and surveillance products,www.cnpadre.com), Many of my colleage classmates are in investing banking, finance,consulting industries, they said sometimes they always get supprised by some people get involved later by their latest ideas and quick promotion.

You will do it well. however, you need to evaluate and have a good look before making any decisions.
