This is from outside the US. There is no real corporation name or legitimate address for this. The answer to your question is boardline rude. NO payment before you start? What are they going to sock you once you get going. What quotas will they demand?

Well, I'm not sure exactly what type of volunteer work you would find interesting, but anything is better than nothing. If you and your husband are not ready for kids yet, then getting involved with the Boys and Girls club or the YMCA might just be the right thing for you....that is, unless you've tried and they already have all the help they need. Other than that, you could try bike riding or running....just something that will keep you physically active and in the sunlight. Or you can take up some sort of hobby, like gardening or writing, something that you think you would be good at. Have you ever gone horseback riding? I haven't really looked at how much it costs, but I know that horses can be rented at some state parks, and they are not too expensive.
