Corporate finance as a career? We Answered:
I am an Accounting Nerd also. I have one word for you "Commercial Paper" General Electric is the largest Commercial Paper dealer in the United States. Most US citizens don't realize it, but Large corporations can borrow money on the open market from any country. They usually will borrow from the country that has the lowest conversion rate, lowest interest rate and best Hedge. It deals with how to finance Corporate Projects with Debt or Equity??? Which Projects will receive funding and whether to pay dividends or when to pay dividends, short term borrowing & credit extensions. You have a bright future in this arena as a lot of companies are going global.Gail Said:

Career Guidance >CA and MBA?We Answered:
Your work experience will be helpful. Plan on getting very good grades and a high GMAT score to get into those top schools. they reject 8-9 out of 10 applicants, because they get so many. But there are many excellent MBA programs besides the 3 you mention. Before you consider which MBA program is for you, consult the Official MBA Guide, a comprehensive free public service with more than 2,000 MBA programs listed worldwide. It allows you to search for programs by location (US, Europe, Far East, etc.), by concentration (finance, marketing, aviation management, health management, accounting, etc.), by type of program (full-time, distance learning, part-time, etc), and by listing your own criteria and preferences to get a list of universities that satisfy your needs. You can use the Guide to contact schools of your choice, examine their data, visit their web site, and send them pre applications. You can see lists of top 40 schools ranked by starting salaries of graduates, GMAT scores, and other criteria. It's the best service available at http://officialmbaguide.org.
