If clubs can be classified as 'evil' ,Real Madrid will be at the top of the list . Agree/Disagree ?.. Do read?

We Answered:

I didn't read what you wrote, just the question itself and i agree. I wouldn't classify them as evil but what teams like real madrid are doing is ruining football. Chelsea, Man city and others can also be noted. The reason transfer fees are at a stupid price is because of these clubs. Wages will go the same way because of Man city alone. Its not good for football and caps will almost definitely be put in place in the future.

The thing is though Real Madrid have a lot of history and football without them would not be good, its just what they have been doing that is ruining football. They could get players for cheaper transfer fees and wage fees so in a way they lose out too.

Man city were a midtable club and could have made it into the top 4 without spending all that money, it might have taken longer but they had a good team. Instead they went and threw their bank account at the team and they have still not made the top 4 and have lost millions in the process. They will do it someday of course but a bit of patience could have seen them make the top 4 on football terms alone, something they would have got a lot of respect for.

I'd just like to mention Harry Redknapp here. That fool has spent loads of money at Spurs and Portsmouth, not in the same amount as City and Madrid but more than the club has i'll tell you that. He is the sole reason that Portsmouth went into administration. I know this from first hand knowledge. He is effectively buying his way up the league as well as the demise of Liverpool helping him along the way. He spends a lot of money in relation to what the owners have, bad mix. If he left the club and they got a poor manager in, they would drop down the table and i would not be surprised to see them go the way of Portsmouth. He wont leave though so good luck to them...

I got an offer today from TCS Budapest !!!!!!?

We Answered:

I am glad that you were offered a job in this bad economy.
350 000 is about $1,750 a month in USD. Not too bad by Hungarian standards.
It is usually common for a co. to pay for your bus, subway month passes, sometimes even internet service at your home if it is job related.A hot meal for lunch is common too.
Rents variey depending on how many rooms you need and which district you are in. I would say the average rent in about $400 to $500 per month but a really nice western style flat could cost over $1,000 a month. You might not like the cheaper flats as the standards would be lower then what you are probably used to in the Netherlands.
This of course does not include utility costs, parking etc.
It's nice that they pay for a gym, I belong to a small one for ladies only that runs me only $40. per month. I know the very nice ones in Budapest can run around $200 or more a month if you are looking for a nice one like in the west. The one I go to in Budapest is a very basic gym and not what I am used to in the states. It suits it's purpose though, I do my yoga at home on my own.
food is not too expensive in Hungary if you cook at home.
My next door neighbor in Budapest is an accountant and only takes home about $600. per month after the high income taxes.Of course she is college educated and has had the same job for over 15 years.
Not sure if your $1,750 is before or after taxes.
It is a beautiful and interesting place but don't plan on getting rich working there.
Oh Yes, it is only about $40 or $50. per month to purchase individual health insurance, it's helpful that they pay yours, not sure if your spouse is included.
It sounds to me like an average wage if it is before taxes for a person with a degree in Hungary.
Most Hungarians are able to afford living in Budapest with a lower wage only because they either outright own their flats and pay only for utilities and association fees or they live with extended family that owns the flats or they have cut a deal years ago for a low rental price.
Make sure that you will be clearing $1,750 per month after paying taxes. Taxes are very high, about 50% and utlities are also high, in the winter it could run you $200 a month for gas depending on the size of your flat and if you want to stay warm.
My husband and I own a small flat in Budapest but are retired from the US and live on a small income from social sercurity. We can live nicely but must not be overly wasteful or we will have to return to work in the states.
Just make sure everything is totally clear for you before you take the job.
