Paulson and Bernanke are competent in this area but, as the Democrats point out, the interests of the American people need to be represented when they're being asked to shell out $700 billion. That is a very reasonable position.

No. Joblessness is caused by businesses attempting to cut costs during an economic downturn. The Federal Reserve is not to blame for the current downturn. Low interest rates may have contributed but it was mainly greed, ignorance, and poor lending practices that led to the current recession. If you knew anything about economics, you would know that.

The Second Bank of the United States may have been the precursor to the Federal Reserve in the fact that it was the previous central bank in the U.S. However, the Second Bank was significantly different in its structure and functions. There is very little comparison between the Second Bank and the Federal Reserve. Therefore, Andrew Jackson's speech is irrelevant in regards to the Federal Reserve.

I think you're just tired of repetitive and mind numbing work. I think you need to do something exciting and purposeful with your life. Eric has the correct answer, even if you were given an early release for good behavior. While I applaud your desire to work with troubled kids I am afraid that your felony will prevent you from doing that kind of work. You may still be able to do volunteer work with troubled kids but it will always require that you be under constant supervision.
