Could you please tell me - I am a loser?!?We Answered:
It's easy to be lost, when you don't know where your going.I think the best thing you can do for yourself, and I am sure you would agree, is to continue job hunting. Set up a routine where you positively look for jobs that fit your skills and desires.

Will Marine Corps. help me or set me back for MBA programs? We Answered:
You aren't crazy at all; it is admirable to do what you believe in. I've had hundreds of students over the years of teaching MBAs who had either just left, or were still on active duty in, the military. In the right kind of position, you get managerial experience there - perhaps better than that you would get only a few years out of college in industry. There will be some challenges; you won't have as much exposure to the business world as some, but if you look at schools which focus more on management than on business, you should do fine.Antonio Said:
Recent college seeks advice????We Answered:
Congrats on graduating and landing a good job!1. I would live in an apartment until I found what I was looking for in the location that I wanted. Take your time...the housing market is starting to slow down in some areas and you should have more to choose from the longer you wait. But if you find what you want, buy it.
2. Try to take advantage of your 401k at work and set up a Roth IRA. Make automatic investments into these accounts so you don't have to think about it. You can also set aside some money for fun...it's ok to have fun.
3. I'm not familiar with commercial banking, but look for opportunities to network internally and externally. Try to find a rising star in the organization and make them look good. They might remember you when they get promoted into another group and take you with them. If you are the rising star, surround yourself with good people.
4. Financial-Save early! Personal-Take your time with relationships. Spiritual-Enjoy!
Best of luck to you!
