Northern Bank Careers

Felix Said:

Is there a job that entails work in the outdoors, risky, and pays around...?

We Answered:

Working the crab boats in the far north west is hard, dangerous work that pays well. It's seasonal.
Working North Sea oil rigs also hard work, good pay. Long periods of time working, long periods off work. Don't know what kind of oil work there is in N.CA.

And... truth is, most hard work doesn't pay to match the physical effort. That's because it generally doesn't require an education, so the available workforce is much bigger. You are not likely to match your banker's salary in an outdoor job.

One possibility for satisfying your yen to sweat in the outdoors is to do volunteer work like trail maintenance on the Pacific Crest Trail or something. That's the sort of thing you could do on weekends and still be home most nights of the week.

How much do vet technicians make in northern California? How about Veterinarians?

We Answered:

I discovered the resource in the box below recently when I was searching for a renewed career. I was in a dead-end job but I wasn't certain what I wanted to do or how to get there. The guidance on the site helped me to decide on my renewed career, and gave me some good ideas about how to set off.

Who has ruined their career because of turning face?+YGWA Mayhem results part 3?

We Answered:

PROMO: So Wolf and Don being the great people they are have taken me under their wings and Wolf has realised the potential of this Straightedge Aussie. The future of wrestling, the soon to be champion, the man who has more connections than you ever will, Nigey McBonez is now in what will ultimately be one of the most hated stable in wrestling history.

Fabian Phenom, he won't last long as Harcdore Champ because i am coming for him, i will be watching his every move and be lurking close by whenever he has a match because i am undoubtedly the best up and comer in YGWA and we all know for a fact that i will be the next hardcore champ. Fabian, you'll be sorry that you ever became Hardcore Champ because i will put you through hell and back to claim the title that shall rightfully be mine.

Now, Wolf and Don are going to pursue their quest of making absolute imbeciles out of Shaun and Greg because they are the dodgiest little plumps to ever walk the earth and while they do, i will also be there as the third man. I will add insult to injury and show them that they are nothing while i am quality at is best. Shaun and Greg, the truth can be confronting so take my advice...live with it.

An era has begun here in YGWA, it quite possibly may never end and that is just unfortunate for the rest of the poor little plumps because they will never be as powerful, dominant or witty as the Wolfpack...the truth hurts doesn't it?

Heather Said:

My husband and I are apply with DoDEA (department of defense education activity)?

We Answered:

Hi Heather,

There is a chatboard at www.teachers.net dedicated to providing support and answers to people seeking to work for DoDDS. Go to www.teachers.net, then go to chatboards, then professional groups, then DoD teachers. Lots of folks there also looking to get on. My other advice is take the opportunity now to become certified in as many areas as you possibly can. Weird/ Unusual combos really help out! Look for things like: AVID, CISCO, SpEd, ESL, Spanish, Early Childhood, gifted ed, etc. Most people have MANY areas of certification. I think I have something like 17. Many states allow you to get certified in additional areas by passing exams, DoDDS has state reciprocity--so whatever you can get certified for stateside, you can have put on your DoDDS paperwork--there are a couple of exceptions I think-- but not many. I have been a DoDDS teacher for 8 years. I'm on my third assignment. In many ways, it's totally a dream deal--but not all ways, trust me! I worked VERY hard to get my job---but knowing what I know now--it's all just a crap shoot and luck.

BEST of Luck to you and your hubby!
Kim
