It depend on what you are focusing on. If you keep on thinking about this negative side, no, it is wrong place to start a career. If you are think about the positive side, yes, it is a right choice.

In the current situation, I will consider it is a right choice to build a career. Every company want to min on what they spend. With all the experience and knowledge you have in the future, you might be the best BPO manager, or even Director.

i dont think so,
because i am also working with a BPO compny
i hav done my BE in Electronics
working as a Tech Spprt Engr.

but since i thot that communication is smthing that I am falling short of.
so thot that joining a Call cntr would help me in that case.
letme tell uthat if u work for a period of 6 mnths..the exp surely counts(condition that d compny is a reputed one)
n u know ....thats working.
i would suggest u to complete atleast 6 mnths of ur tenure...while doing that get MCP/MCSE certifications n u can try for Convergys or Symantec which giv u a sal of around 21~22000. for the Microsoft process they hav.
n after completing 1 yr for such compny u can later switch over to a S/w compny...benefit is they will see u r exp in MSoft Technologies.
