i worked as a supervisor in call center in the philippines and pretty much, the call center easiest to get into is the one that pays less or has bad management. as an aspiring call center agent/employee, you should think "why" you fail the application. then work on it. i should say, stick to the big ones. they're always worth working for.

In both Call center and BPOs they check your communication skills. There is not any pre defined question pattern in call centres and BPOs. As you are a fresher the primary importance is for checking your pronunciation. To check all this, they may ask some informal questions...for example..introduce your self, as a B.Sc fresher why do you prefer to join Call centreBPO, Tell me something about an unforgettable incident that you have faced once..etc..as the topics of selection is vast they may ask you anything. But whatever they ask, if you are perfect in your language you can get through. Best of luck!!!

whether it is a good career or not will be up to the individual... for me it was a dead end... i was great at what i did on the phones, but all that would ever happen was bad shift times, getting griped at for call time, and tested over several things that the management never even bothered to tell us about - you top out at around 13/hour on pay (at least in texas) so to me, i found it to be a dead end job.

First try to be a good agent with all your credentials be above good, then go to senior level, then Team leader->Team Manager-> Project manager->Director-> vice president etc. You can earn a pretty good amount from the starting. It soley depends on your attitude and your ability to influence and make the customers happy! Never go to a callcentre if you have plans to move or make a callcenter as a temperory shelter for your unemployment problems, if you do, you are not only spoiling the image of the nation and distroying the bread of lacs of people, and the trust of the outsourcing company. Please never do it. Certainly follow the health tips for working in the night shift too.
