call the school and ask, there is nothing worse then starting and then not finishing, not only is it a waste of your time, and money/grants/lottery assistance BUT more importantly it takes away a valuable spot from someone else.....


my wife is an RN who was an LPN, she got her LPN certificate through the TN Technology Center in our home town. it took her 12 months and it was extremely demanding on her, and on the rest of the family.
we supported her 100% and it took every bit of that support for her to go to school, do her homework, and occasionally help with the house when she could........

I would think a Technology Center because it requires you to get up and go. Also the instructor will see that you did the work on your own without the assistance of another person.

To get into IT, your degree should probably be something like Computer Science, Information Systems or Systems Engineering. Look closely at the college catalogs for info on what is included in each IT offering.

Check out companies that have Materials Labs. Geotechnical engineering companies often have a materials lab and a special inspecting department too, they all go hand in hand. You can join APWA or ASCE to network. They have monthly meetings all over the country.
