revisiting the 2004 draft: your input? We Answered:
If the 2004 draft will happen today this would be the result:1. Dwight Howard- can score probably 20 and 10 boards on a contending team, defends like hell and probably the best player on this draft and the best center in the NBA right now.
2. Kevin Martin- He can score a tons of points but lacks defense. Also he's the franchise of the Kings.
3. Devin Harris- Why Martin over Harris? I think Martin is an overall better player than Harris they can both score but Martin is way consistent than him.
4. Al Jefferson- The 2nd best big man in this draft can rebound, defend and score.
5. Andre Iguodola- This guy benefit the most in his team. But he can't resist that he's a ballhog sometimes.
6. Ben Gordon- Enough said he can score off the bench.
7. Andris Biedrins- the face of the Warriors since Baron left and Ellis was injured.
8. Jr. Smith- too good to be this high.
9. Josh Smith- too efficient
10. Shaun Livingston- if he is not injured he can play the ball well and lead the floor to his teammates. Probably compared to Magic Johnson.

Junior Game Designing Kits?We Answered:
When I was your age, I learned 6502 Assembly Language on an Apple][+ computer. Back then, development tools were NOWHERE near as advanced as they are now and most programmers back then actually knew how to program -unlike today, where most "programmers" have absolutely no business programming professionally. Of course, in the 80's, learning Assembly Language at a young age wasn't a big deal. There's a free game making program called Game Maker which doesn't use complex programming, but you can get the feel of designing and creating your own games.

DO NOT go to stupid places like Microsoft's XNA Creators Club or use Microsoft game libraries. The only reason that Microsoft has that garbage is to sucker young people into being hooked on Microsoft's products. Idiotic Microsoft garbage like .NET programming, frameworks, and game libraries are just there so that stupid people become reliant on Microsoft products. Any real programmer would know this.
(This is actually one of the many examples of why consumer education should be MANDATORY in school. Too many people can't tell when they are being suckered into something stupid.)
Also, any real Windows programmer with common sense would know that utter garbage like Object Oriented Programming, frameworks, COM objects, and interpreted languages like Visual BASIC and C# produce bloated, slow code. Considering that most games are resource-heavy, you should use a decent language like C or C++ (without OOP) for programming anything that is CPU intensive. Well, actually, Assembly Language is the real language to use, but you should learn C/C++ first.
Anyone who says differently cannot program worth a crap and it can be easily proven by disassembling their piece of crap programs.
You're old enough to learn programming with C or C++.
If you want to learn Windows programming, then here's a decent plan:

P.S.
To get to be a game designer, you should get your foot in the door by being a programmer or graphics designer first.

Is No. 1 draft choice Greg Oden already a bust? (has 2 opinions in the article)? We Answered:
Just want to point out that your first article by Alan Bellittera had a misquoted error. Portland did not pass up on Hakeem Olajuwon because he was the first pick in the 1984 draft. Portland picked second and selected Sam Bowie over Michael Jordan. Portland not only passed up on MJ but they also passed up on a lot of great NBA players like Charles Barkley, Sam Perkins, Alvin Robertson, Otis Thorpe, Kevin Willis, and John Stockton. These players have had a profounding impact on the NBA but none of them would have been able to downplay the fact that Portland passed up on arguably one of the most dominant NBA guards of all-time.
