its way too early to be able to tell for you whether you will be able to get into chapel hill. your grades are alright but im sure you know unc is a highly competitive school and you're going to need to have better ones once you get to your junior year especially. What you can do now to start preparing is to GET INVOLVED. take extra curriculars, try to get a job or volunteer. the more stuff you can add to your application the better, so by getting a head start now you will have a better chance.

It isn't odd, although it IS rare. You are an intelligent individual who, it seems, has no time for the trivialities that seem to consume a large portion of the people your age. I also had trouble identifying with people my own age, and tended to associate more closely with those individuals who provided an example of what I aspired to become. Age does not necessarily bring wisdom or maturity, and youth does not necessarily exclude either wisdom or maturity. Pay no attention to your age. Be grateful that somehow or another, you have achieved an advanced level of maturity at a young age. You will find that you have avoided many of the pitfalls that many people your age have fallen into, and may spend years trying to reverse.

Get involved in anything that has to do with acting, singing or dancing. Go audtition for plays OUTSIDE of school. You wont get anywhere if you just stay in the school, you need to take every opportunity and get yourself out there to be noticed. If you cant take the effort to help yourself out and put yourself out there, don't bother trying at all. Take some improvisational classes, you'll definitely need to.
