Career in Anthropology?

We Answered:

I was an archaeologist for 9 of the most boring and poor months of my life. There is no future in archaeology unless you are a professor. There is no money in it. I know you think, like I did, that as long as your happy money does not matter. Well, that will quickly change when you are constantly broke and pay for an apartment that you never live in. If you have a true interest in archaeology/anthropology, consider going for a minor in it and study a more marketable skill. Trust me, you will be better off.

Information on how to start a mma gym and fitness center.?

We Answered:

The best routes to take are to research the process of starting a business as well as the industry you're interested in.

I recommend checking out the SBA, Entrepreneur, The Start Up Journal & Nolo. All 4 are great informational resources for the new/small business owner. I posted links for you in the source box.

Associations may be a good avenue to explore. These organizations will address many of the thoughts, questions and concerns you'll inevitably have as well as many you haven't anticipated yet. See the source box for some relevant links.

Research, research, research – this cannot be stressed enough. Read as much as you can about the industry. Here are some book titles that are relevant:

* Gym Biz: Starting and Running Your Own Gym for Profit by Lou Ravelle
* Small Club Start-up: A Personal Trainer's Guide by Ron Fay
* The Business of Fitness: Understanding the Financial Side of Owning a Fitness Business by Thomas Plummer
* Making Money in the Fitness Business by Thomas Plummer

I also posted links to some free articles in the source box.

Hope that helps! I wish you much success & happiness in all your ventures!
