What are requirements to be a vet tech?We Answered:
Veterinary technicians are required (in most states) to have a 2 year degree in veterinary technology from an AVMA accredited veterinary technology program, to have passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam and a state exam in order to be credentialed. They are also generally required to attend a set number of continuing education courses each year to keep up with changes in veterinary medicine. Veterinary technicians are educated in veterinary anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, animal husbandry, surgical assisting, anesthesia, medical nursing, diagnostics such as radiology and ultrasonography, clinical pathology, parasitology, medical terminology and record keeping, biological collection and sample handling and preperation, etc. They can also specialize in areas such as emergency and critical care, internal medicine, anesthesia, dentistry, behavior and equine nursing. The American Veterinary Medical Association maintains a list of accredited degree programs on their website: http://www.avma.org/education/cvea/vette…
Because laws and requirements vary from state to state, it's a good idea to contact your state vet tech association in order to find the specific requirements where you are. It's also a good idea to shadow a vet tech, or volunteer/work as a veterinary assistant for a while before enrolling in a veterinary technology program to see what the position is really like.

How to build a career in HR?We Answered:
Hey Starter,If HR is what you want, don't give up. I transitioned from teaching into HR after getting many, many rejections. Everyone kept telling me to come back when I had at least three years HR experience. How can I come back when I can’t get a job to get the experience? Duh?
If you don't belong to your local SHRM, that would be a good place to start. Attend the local meetings and keep your ears open for entry-level positions like an HR coordinator. You should also beef up your resume for HR-related skills that will get you noticed. Finally, try targeting smaller companies where you might be able to take on some HR functions while assuming another role.
Good luck & keep at it!

How to succeed in finding a job when you have never been Outgoing? We Answered:
One tip I was given is just imagine the interviewer in his underwear and smile. Just talk to the person like they are a friend be honest and they seem to like it if you have a question or two at the end of the interview. for example if the company has initials what do they stand for, What is the company motto?, Do the people in the office work good together as a team? Don't be afraid of asking questions, its how you become a good employee. when you go into the interview do not fiddle with your hands if the chair you sit in has arms on it keep your arms on the chair arms it will appear as though you are an open minded person. If they don't then place your hands together and don't fiddle. Do not cross your arms this looks as though you are not approachable. If you don't have any questions have a closing statement like, I am a good team player and I will look forward to hearing from you and thank you for your time. Everyone turns a bit red in an interview and most interviewers know that you are already nervous. How on earth do you think they feel? what if the interviewer is the first time he has done the job of interviewing. Keep a smile on your face, be friendly, and practise in the mirror answering questions about your skills, if you start to studder in the interview just say sorry I am a bit nervous only once though. They will appreciate your honesty. Take your time to answer the question, if you are unsure of how to answer ask them if they could please reword the question. or give you an example. Take a tylenol and a cup of tea before you go on the interview it will caulm you down. You will have to answer what is your greatest strength and weekness. Mine is training people on computers and my weekness is spelling and thank God computers have a spell checker now. Do you get the gist of the whole thing? with a little humour. You will be fine. Take care HeatherChristopher Said:
