Any advice for how to make a successful career change ?We Answered:
Get a copy of "What Color Is Your Parachute" by Bolles and read it, especially the chapter on career change where he talks about the need to assess if you are making an industry or role/skill/discipline change and to focus on one or the other but not both.Next, gain an understanding of what companies in your target industry are looking for in their reps and identify and emphasize the skills you have developed in your history that are transferable. Transferable skills recognition, positioning and selling are critical when doing career transfers, especially when you have "no direct experience".
Finally, do an analysis of your network as the fastest way to the job you want is through personal referrals.

How did you get into your great job/career?We Answered:
I decided that I wanted to work in a particular field so I went to 13 different companies (without a resume or experience). I was finally hired by the last (13th) company because they were so impressed with my burning desire to do whatever it took to get a job. Maybe it was more that the guy who interivewed me was more entertained by me and saw himself starting out and decided to give me a chance.Just don't give up. Pick a place that you really want to work at and let them know that if they don't hire you it will be the worst mistake they could ever make.
Cheers!

Anyone know about two wheeler services??We Answered:
Yahoo will (hopefully) translate this back into your language. Most of the services you will see in the TVS shop will be preventive maintenance that has gone well past its due date but there will be engine, or suspension, or tyre related problems. There may be some transmission and final drive problems. You should be going into the service department library and study the printed service manuals to get familiar with some of the nomenclature and verbiage that will be used in each type of service requested. Then let the technician figure it out thats their job.
