a master's degree in early childhood education would certainly give you an edge as you apply to work in christian camps. you could apply your religious interest and business savvy of communications very well to this degree.

if a distance learning program is the only option for you, then i would find an early childhood ed online community and ask around about where participants earned their degrees online. otherwise, it would be way more advantageous to attend a campus; you will get way more hands on learning, which is immeasurably important when you're aiming to work with kids.

Also, you probably would have much better luck going to local businesses than directly to Starbucks. You can arrange meetings with them and go in person to present your request. It will carry a lot more wieght. You might not get all the money in one place, but they will see your passion and, most likely, do what they can to help.

If you can't meet in person, send the same letter you would have to the CEO of Starbucks.

There is no guarantee of happiness or wealth in the Bible for becoming or living as a Christian. In fact we are warned how we shall be brought before Kings and governors at times and be tortured or put to death for His name.

Haven't we all seen people like Ted Turner through to Hefner, Flint etc that have joked, mocked and lampooned Jesus and Christianity who are still in the upper echelons of society doing well, thank you very much yet others who have died very untimely and unpleasant deaths like those Christian Indonesian girls savagely beheaded bu Muslim militiamen or the Italian nun, helping the destitute in Somalia for 40 years shot down like a dog 2 years back after tribesmen were displeased with the Pope's comments taken out of text.
