Any tips for a high school center turned tackle? We Answered:
bend at the knees not the wasteget in the same stance every time or the DE will catch on
always be ready for the DE to cut back
foces on where your first step is, take your first step baced on where the play is going
when run blocking keep you feet moveing and watch the DEs hips and finsh the block/put him on his ***
when pass blocking dont plat your feet, always keep them moveing so that you ca react, if you plant your feet to get the most power you make it easy for the DE to beat you
when the DE stunts to the inside hold your arm out to the gard and wait for a tackle or line backer to come if the dont, slowy (still being aware of the LBs and DTs go to the inside to help out the gards and tackle
when a LB blitz and you have to pick him up, aticepate where he is going to be because he has the atvantige of a running start if you plant your feet the start moveing when he passes you he will beat you every time
keep your arms extended
keep you back stright when you are in your stance and when you are blocking

im comin outta high school and i need to find out what is the best route to go?We Answered:
Have you thought about college or community college to begin with? I know college isn't for everybody so if not you should go to a trade school for any of those careers, maybe get an apprenticeship. Any of the jobs, in the right city with the right education will make you a decent living.
