Theresa Said:
What course should i take to become a legal secretary? We Answered:
Many legal secretaries actually have no formal training or education as it is usually an entry level position. Avoid the "technical/vocational" certificate programs. They are not worth the money you invest.I would suggest attending an ABA approved paralegal program. If you are interested in becoming a legal secretary, the legal curriculum will help you. While most legal secretaries have different duties than a paralegal, often many attorneys use their legal secretary as a paralegal. Also, browse your community college catalogs. I know the college I attended had an "office management" degree that prepared you for becoming an office administrator. This will help you immensely. Many times, the legal secretary is the person responsible for running the office. You want a degree that will prepare you for that.
Stay away from certificate programs and find an associate's degree program with classes that will apply to running an office.

Corruption in legal circles|Is this the cause? We Answered:
Corruption - can be defined as "the misuse of entrusted power for personal benefit". It can also be described as letting personal or family relationships influence economic decision making, be it by private economic agents or by government officials. Corruption is every where, It is like AIR around us. Not only the judiciary circles, even the anti-corruption bureau people who are the watch dogs for corruption are also corrupted in majority. I know an instance where banners were ordered by ACB containing Anti corruption slogans. In that major deal the contractor spent nearly 50 % as bribe.Another interesting aspect is the ACB inspectors will bribe their clerical staff for their increments and TA bills.
When such is the state of affairs what shall we do to end corruption.
