If your headteacher hasn't told you yet, take a filled lunch box with you in your rucksack. Then whatever happens you'll be able to eat. Maybe the center will cater for you. With luck, your headteacher will reply to your letter and then you'll be able to tell everyone else who's going with you, so they won't be hacked off with you.

I'm not familiar with any equestrian programs in high schools, but I did want to mention one thing. You're probably thinking about going to college for a horse related career, right?
