What should I do about my baseball career?

We Answered:

I a was a Pro-Pitcher, Before I messed up my arm before it was fully developed. By what? CURVE BALLS. Stop the Curves now, It will mess up your arm, as it did mine. Stop them. If you play colledge baseball, start them when you are about 19. If you get drafted out of high school, let team doctors determine. Now pursue pitching. Pursue it so much. If it's your favorite do it. Now, Keep With THe Split And CHange. Also, try learning the slider. THe Mid 70-s fastball will get you no where, to help you, here are some things to increase velocity. Now, this is something that's $50 and I hhaven't tried it, but it says it's garunteed to help you gain 6-13 mphs on your fastball, and the average is 10 mph.

And then, this is a drill that I now for a fact works, it's iin video, heres a link to it

You see, that drill really helps. Now this is the #1 resource for high school baseball players, with tips on power, and contact hitting, Pitching, and even more. It's free. It's very helpful

Now, that'll get you over the top. One thing that doesn't help is long toss. How does throwing a ball in a non pitching motion help? It doesn't. Practice mechanics, they are the key to velocity. If you are left handed, try matching something similar to Either Johan Santana Or C.C. Sabathias Mechanics. Now if you are right handed, try matching something similar to Roy Halladay.
Now, go after what you want to do most. I think you should do pitching, It's the best position on the diamond. Do those and you will get to pitch a bunch. Have fun, And you will get to pitch much with doing those things. Pitching is great. It's completely worth working on pitching too, as pitching is the most fun you'll ever have in baseball. It's great, Trust me. WOrk on it too, It's worth the extra work. Drop the curves though!
Have Fun,

Can and how do I become a professional actor?

We Answered:

Take some acting classes and go out for those big roles. Prove to them ur better!!
Take singing lessons, trust me they do miracles. Singing well can help you get into musicals and other plays with just a few songs. Makes you more of a threat!!!!!
Be confident but be humble dont let the buisness get you down. Tom cruise was turned down manytimes before odisionin for the outsiders and risky buisness.
Go to comunity theatre get good keep practicing and as an audition for a paid play or show invite them to ur next show. Take about 2 or 3 years in comunity theatre get well known and you will get offered jobs and then if people like you enough then u can try your luck in hollywood. But be carefull and dont sell your soul!!!

Can Anyone Tell Me What Astoria, Oregon Is Like? Anyone Live There Right Now?

We Answered:

Astoria's a cool little town. Been there a few times on weekend trips. Right there on the mouth of the Columbia, it's a beautiful setting. There's a lot of history there, and it has a heavy seafaring element to the feel of the town. It's primary economy is fishing and tourism.

If you love Seattle and the Pacific Northwest, I think Astoria embodies the spirit of this part of the country like no other town. It's where Lewis and Clark made their winter home in 1805 at Fort Clatsop, and was one of the first American settlements in the Northwest.

And if you're looking for a career in seamanship, I think this may be the perfect town for you. Good luck.
