Kent Said:

Should i get a NEW job? (Career advice)?

We Answered:

The quicker you can get an advanced degree the better.
YOU HAVE NO LOYALTY beyond working for the amount of time they pay you for. This is a trap, and waking up 10 years later after having been passed up for promotions by those with advanced degrees with less experience is crummy.

Get yourself with whichever company affords you the ability to get advacned degrees the quickest.
Be kind about it to the current company, and when you are hired by the new, and are tendering your resignation, explain your reasoning to your current company. They may want to match the pay, but proximity to colleges may not be something they can overcome.

4 years will pass whether you spend them doodling or going to school. This is the time to work your butt off and get that degree!

I need a job...asap...where should I start?

We Answered:

Start looking on campus where you got your degree - many have career resource centers which will help you get started on your job search. Other than that, check the company websites of the companies near you that you know will be hiring people with your qualifications and get writing your resume.

Daryl Said:

who goes to wyotech, hopefully auto tech in PA?

We Answered:

A bunch of kids from my high school went. A few saved up and paid for it themselves, others got big scholarships. I don't know the cost; look on their website or call the Rep. and ask. It's a great school! Good luck!

Should i go for my CNA lisence?

We Answered:

Yes I would get your Certified Nursing Assistant licence, work there for like a couple of years or so, and then apply for the physician assistant program. Good luck!

Tyrone Said:

Are there any classes or courses for Special make-up effects and puppetry/animatronics in or near Kentucky?

We Answered:

You'll need to start by learning general stage make-up and acting/directing techniques. Those can be pursued at any college/university with a good theatre program. Northern Kentucky University is outstanding, and U. of Louisville has the advantage of being near the Louisville theatre scene, which has national respect. Near Kentucky, University of Cincinnati has a good musical theatre program in its College-Conservatory of Music, and Indiana University is first-class.
