Css Problems...Again?We Answered:
Before visiting your resume.html, the link in the main body of your page looks ok. It is only after clicking the link, that it starts to look like one of your nav links.Having identified that as the symptom of your problem, it had me search for :visited, which took me to the offending line:
ul#navbar li a:link,a:visited {
It should be:
ul#navbar li a:link, ul#navbar li a:visited {
Otherwise the rule applies to all a:visited, not just those in ul#navbar li
BTW the <hr> tag has no color attribute, so you might want to change <hr color="#236B8E"> to <hr style="color:#236B8E">

getting job in construction?We Answered:
Schooling generally doesn't help in the construction field. Most contractors who are "flipping" houses do general carpentry work themselves (think framing, drywalling, etc) and subcontract most technical things out (think electrical, HVAC).So, probably the best place to start is working for someone who is in the business of remodeling houses, you'll be exposed to a wide variety of work, and you'll gain a lot of experience in terms of fixing up a house for resale.
Remodeling is generally dirty work, but can be more lucrative than new construction (especially in a down economy)
