NIU has a great accounting program. If you want to become a CFO for a large company, you will more than likely need to become a CPA, This will require you to have 150 hours of college, and you work for a CPA. (Check your state accounting board for the exact requirements to become a CPA, every state is different.) A Bachelors is around 120, so you are looking at needing a masters. An MBA would probably be best for either of these positions.
