I feel you. I found the easiest thing for me to do was to work for the government (GS, YA, NAF, FAA, FBI, etc.). You get spousal preference and anytime you move, your time in towards retirement and leave, transfers with you to the next base/post/camp/gov agency. The benefits are really good too.Child care provider would be another suggestion.
