You can rescue abandondened animals and such by working at an animal rescue shelter

before you leap -- that is a very demanding career and can take a lot out a person -- i would go to a clinic and speak to the manager and get a real good eye opener of what exactly the job entails!!! as for former drug user -- it could either help or hinder you depending on your will power!!!

ACA is more highly regarded in the UK, however ACCA is the same apart from this. ACCA is more recognised internationally, as it is the largest body in the world, but ACA is also highly regarded as its from the UK. It will take 3 years to be qualified at least, depending on passing the exams. Wages are similar across all. The difference lies in working in practice, ie with other accountants, or working in industry ie be the accountant in a company. The latter is likely to be better pay, but the former is preferable when training i would say.

but listen to your parents, gaming is bad for you, and has no career future because xbox will be replaced with something else someday and there are many many people playing the game better than you but without any monetary compensation.

Consider looking for volunteer work in an area that interests you.

That allows you to see what jobs are available in that area.

If you volunteer at a hospital you get to see what kinds of Dr. and Therapist there are.

If you volunteer at a school you get to see what specialties teacher have etc.

Volunteer at an animal shelter and you learn about what vets and animal control officers do. Did you know there are chiropractors that work on animals! My Friend just spent a small fortune on a lame horse!

Also...use your library as a resource. There are books, and magazines related to almost every career imaginable.
