Career Change At 50 Years Old
Stanley Said:
A friend with no will left to work or have a career... do I expose him taking advantage of friends and family? We Answered:
I don't think exposing the lazy friend makes you a bad person at all. I think there are more people like him than most of us realize, who are basically doing nothing (on our tax $$).The most important thing here, is your friend's attitude and well-being. I think you are right in saying he could be that 50 year old guy in the mother's basement. If he gets more and more used to doing nothing, then he will think this is the way life is supposed to be. He is incredibly bright and smart, but if he does nothing with it he'll never realize what he's capable of.
He HAS to get out there and be on his own. He won't want to work menial jobs or jobs well below what he's capable of, but that's too bad. Right now, people are taking what they can get. He has to learn to take care of himself in more ways than one.
If the parents come to you, then YES by all means, tell them. Tell them they need to set him packing, and if they keep doing what they're doing, they're ruining his chances of becoming someone. Good luck!!

Simple as that.
Some people can break up walls of text.
Some can't.
Readability is all.

Do other people at age 52 find it hard to find Good employment? We Answered:
Forget other people. Who cares what they think? Start your own business. There's nothing like being your own boss. You work twice as hard, but are half as tired.Wade Said:
Is there more to life than working 9-5 for 40-50 years? We Answered:
Yes, if you have the time you can try to fulfill your social, emotional, family, work, or other goals. The difference from working nonstop and being happy completing your goals is taking the time or effort to make your life more enjoyable.
