Career Change Cv
James Said:
I am 51, university educated, an experienced lecturer and musician. Is it too late to change my career? We Answered:
You can be whatever you want to be as long as you have the passion for it. What you are learning today will only add to your resume/CV. And I believe this will be all for the better. I dont believe that in the field of computer programming, age matters. You can start a small business of your own or teach in a formal class of computer programming. Or, you can offer your services as trainor to small companies going into computerization of their accounting, HR, operations, inventory systems and the like. Good luck.Diane Said:
How to change a career? We Answered:
If you want to do social work you will need to go back and get your Master's in Social Work. You should be able to apply now, especially if your frame your work in tourism in terms of the work you do with people. If you are not quite ready to make the jump, you might start by volunteering (Big brother/sister always needs volunteers). Alternately Homeless programs often need volunteers.DA

Career Change HELP: If I moved into the countryside, i would want to work with children...?We Answered:
I'd go for child minder from home, you're at home with your own children then too and people are quite literally screaming out for affordable child care in this country. If you're in England you can get a grant from the government to help train.
Good Luck.
Gladys Said:
from office work to care work how would i do a cv?We Answered:
Making the transition from one career to another is not always easy. The best I could suggest is that you rewrite your CV, emphasizing those areas in your past employment which would perhaps highlight some of your duties and responsibilities which were geared as much towards care work as it was towards office work. Suppose for example, your office work was in the human resources department, emphasizing the fact that your often had to deal with people on a personal level for a variety of reasons, such as having problems at home, etc, would accomplish that. The bottom line however is the fact that you do want a change of career, and you should relay that fact to your potential employer, outlining your experience and skills to support your belief that you are now qualified to do so.Ellen Said:
I am going to apply for the position of assistant in an embassy. Which format of CV shall I choose? We Answered:
i think a CV is the first way to know the person you gonna recruit, because it shows what the person thnks and what is his advantage and disadvantage. so my advice to you is just BE YOURSELf and choose any format you like.good luck...
