Again, this one part: "They serve no therapeutic or medical purpose."

Sorry, I was under the assumption he was a VET, and knew the most basic of biological functions.

So, he says "makes the animal less dangerous", which counts as a psychological 'fix', and yet it serves no therapeutic purpose? What about dogs with testosterone levels so high that they are incapable of thinking normally, and turn to aggression?

What about the prevention of cancers? No medical purpose there.

This guy is clearly so full of himself that it has spilled over the top, and he felt SO impressed that he had to articulate himself in the most incendiary manner possible as to ruffle the feathers of the animal lovers community.

Spare me this political bullshit and give me a vet thats doing his job and ISN'T preaching on the side.

Well let me be the first to say that this guy is a nut. Animals appreciate us. We feed them, shelter them, keep them warm, accept them into our homes, and love them. Our pets have never lived in the wild anyways. When you neuter your pet, you make life easier for them. For example, if your female dog goes into heat, sometimes it will hurt her and attract wild animals that may not be friendly to her. Who is this guy to say what animals think. He needs to get over his need to criticize people and their beliefs and get a life.
