Career Change Guidance

Andrew Said:

I'm looking to change careers. Where can I get some guidance?

We Answered:

I agree that you have to find your passion. Mine was helping people and teaching them how to find a better way. But I wasn't paying the bills with it until now. I have started my own business in the health and wellness industry and everything is now in place. I am helping people with their health and teaching them how to increase their wealth. A huge factor is that I am building residual income which frees up my time to pursue other avenues at the same time. It is very rewarding in so many ways.

Financial services career Question/Guidance?

We Answered:

Hummm.... well you may consider this. It is similar and it is what I do. Think of a career in Equipment Leasing as a Broker. As banks Delcine to make loans, Leasing Brokers are filling the void by providing leases to their clients with a minimal outlay of capital. My background was like yours in banking. Do some research - and check it out - you may be surprised! Good Luck -

career change guidance...?

We Answered:

Ask yourself this: Can I work here for another day, another week, another year? From the sound of it no, so start looking. If you like to write, find jobs in writing; newspaper, magazine, etc. It sounds like you need a change. Try something that follows your interests. It won't be a life change or something you may do for the rest of your life, but at least it will point you in the direction that you want to go. I've had jobs from being a delivery driver, to owning my own import/export business, to being a coffee broker in Africa. All of these jobs didn't follow anything I studied in school, but I gained skills and interests of where I wanted to go with my career. The one thing I learned is that a job you can't stand getting up in the morning for doesn't do anything for your personal happiness, time to make a change!
