Alice Said:

i have 2 yrs.exp in general HR as govt. servant what will be right career option if want a career change?

No matter how bad your situation is, why would you give up lifetime pay and benefits?

Most other companies don't offer that, the government is the only secure job right now.

Marc Said:

Is web design/development still a viable career option in the US?

We Answered:

Hate to say so, but it's true. Tons of web design/development jobs get outsourced to India, and it falls under the "may have" category of services. It really isn't all that recession-proof.

Just stick to something that can't be outsourced!

Hello, I have a question mainly having to do with career change, options and the best way to approach...?

We Answered:

You can't become a radiologic technologist online. You need many, many hours of clinical time. Accredited radiography programs are generally 40 hours per week for 2 years.

Jeffrey Said:

Are online classes a good option for a change of career?

We Answered:

I am starting paralegal school in the Fall. The main thing you want is a school that is ABA-approved. A school that is entirely online is not approved. There are a couple that are partly online, but mostly on campus that are approved, but if it is only online, it is not a good idea.

I have been doing a lot of research and I have read over and over that an online-only paralegal school is a bad idea-employers want classroom training. Also, most employers want experience, so be aware of that. I am hoping that my school can give me some great contacts for jobs and the internship will help. That is the one issue I am very concerned about, but I really want this certificate.

Check out the schools near you. If you have a BA, there are certificate programs, which is what I am enrolled in. There are also associate degree programs. These are what you want, from an approved school. I am going to a community college, where the total cost will be about $4,000. There is a university near me offering a course, it is 3 times the cost, and is not approved. I would check the school out thoroughly. There are many schools offering paralegal studies, but you want to make sure you do it the right way.

Good luck!

I am a 32 years old BSc grad working as Admin exe in a IT company ?What career option do i have?

We Answered:

If you're a secretary (and that's what you're describing) then that IS your career path. You're done unless you hope to be the office manager which is a glorified secretary. If you're an executive assistant (at the high level for executives of large public companies) then you can make close to six figures but you've got to be the best of the best and a master juggler.
