Ana Said:

do you need to be a plumber and a plasterer to become a tiler (thinking of a career change)?

We Answered:

No , only if you have to move walls or remodel interior wall space, tiling is
easy if you have all the right equipment including a tile saw and not a cheap one either.

Kristen Said:

Suggestions for career change, possibly plumber?

We Answered:

are you really that burned out? you know there are fields in nursing that are not that stressful. One job is to become a radiology RN. My mom has a friend and her job is really sweet and very low stress. She has her own office. All you really have to do is be on call when a tech needs you to do a venipuncture, someone codes (rarely happens), or need help to do radiological exams like voiding cystourethragraphy (sp?) or cystograms for the insertion of catherers and maybe also for pain management. If you are worried about radiation, it is very minimal. If the techs do it with no problem for a long time and we get more radiation than the radiology nurses, you can do it too. Btw, VCU's or cystograms rarely occurs now.

Enrol on a night school course. There is a good chance that they have a list of prospective employers who will take you on when you reach a certain level.

Edward Said:

i want to change career & become a plumber but i still need a income from my job as a driver any suggestions.?

We Answered:

You're going to have to do evening classes to gain your qualification. They won't be cheap but it's got to be worth it in the end. Check out your local colleges and see what courses they have.
Good luck x
