Career Change Suggestions

I'm looking for a career change, any suggestions? We Answered:
I think you have to start with: What do you like to do? Figure that out and then scout out some job sites and see what is out there that uses the skills you have, and the functions are those that you enjoy. So, you are in sales. Do you even like dealing with people? If you like the customer contact, maybe you can try sales in a different field (retail, pharmaceuticals, business supplies).
If you are tired of customers, but need people contact, you might want to think about management. Believe me, it still requires sales bcz you have to sell your team on things from company missions to getting motivated but you MUSt be able tl lead, if not you will be canned FAST.
Once you figure out the 'what' you could see if there are any volunteer opportunities in your area that would use the needed skills - this would allow you to a) see if you even enjoy it and b) if you do, it will give you experience so you can put it on your resume and make the career transition easier.
Unless you are going into areas like medicine, scientific research, engineering, and the like, the type of degree you get really does not matter - it's all in how you sell yourself in the interview and using the skills you have to do a great job.
hope that helps.

I want a radical career change, any suggestions? We Answered:
I've worked most of my life making computer games, now I'm an artist, actor, writer, cgi effects for film and tv artist, and a martial arts instructor.Sounds like a lot, but I'm loving not spending my life behind a computer now. It's been quite a long journey getting here too, but I've had a lot of fun.

You ask us to give you a suggestion for a career that you can be "passionate" about !?!? Really. How about a Playboy Playmate Photographer. Or would you be the type to be passionate about being a pizza delivery man (that gets you out and about). As for the perfect job, I already have it. But, then again that is just my opinion. Instead of wasting your time here, answer your own question and actually get a job you are passionate for.Bruce Said:

What are your interests? What field of work do you see yourself doing?Corey Said:
Career Change Suggestions?We Answered:
What kind of hobbies do you have? What do you do for fun when you're not at work? What gets you out of bed on weekends? Try to find something that will tie into those interests. Life's too short to do stuff you don't like, and after 20 years, you deserve to be paid for some fun.Sigh. Now to take my own advice.
