Kenneth Said:
How many jobs have you held in your lifetime? We Answered:
4 jobs, from the ages of 16 to 32.I'd love to own a candy store one day, and be a confectioner. I love to make candy!
Corey Said:
They say that in a lifetime, you will change at least 5 different jobs/careers. Is that true?We Answered:
For most people it most certainly is.Only a small minority of people actually finish school and do what they studied in school as a career long term. Nurses, Doctors, Veterinarians, Law Enforcement professionals but even some of them move on to be teachers, educators, Private Investigators or something else. To expect someone who is 17 or even 22 to be able to pick what they want to spend the rest of their working life doing is a little much. By then we all have our strengths and our areas of expertize or proficiency but most people do career or job hop at least 5 times over their working life. I was in hospitality, sales, recreation, accounting, government and education prior to getting into finance. Everything one does on his/her path not only add to his/her resume but also his/her character or personality. What you develop into as a human becoming is decided by the choices we make and doors we open.

I want to totally change my career.............?We Answered:
Consider getting an MBA. Your accounting background will make the Finance part of the curriculum, which is often the most challenging, a breeze. You can then spend your time learning new skills focused on strategy, operations, etc. This is what I did when I changed from an engineering career to human resources, and it has paid off in spades!
