Free career test - looking for a website with a free career finder test?

We Answered:

Within Yahoo you can try
www.hotjobs.yahoo.com/findinga job

Another one worth looking at is :

www.job-hunt.org/findingjobs.shtml

But it may be a lot better for you to find out about jobs near where you live by calling into an employment agency. Staff there can assess you and find out your strengths and weaknesses and then perhaps match you with the available jobs in your area which you have a potential to be good at.

Violet Said:

are there any "free" career finding test on the internet?

We Answered:

Absolutely! Here are two different FREE career tests that I have found for you online. I have taken both of them and they are both very accurate. They arent very long and the questions are easy to answer. I hope this helps you out.
Good luck in your career search :)

ANY ADULTS! I'm confused and scared about finding a right career in college?

We Answered:

Don't worry. This is very normal. What 17 year old really knows what they want to do with their life?
I would suggest talking to a counselor when you enroll and schedule your classes. They will really help to get you on the right path. Meaning, they can pretty much lay out your college career and what classes you will need to take to finish whatever program you decide to go into.
One other thing I would suggest is to do some career research. Try to find jobs that you may enjoy. But really check to see which career fields will be growing in the future. You want a job when you graduate college. Either go for a business degree, or find whatever careers will be growing and hiring when you're done with school. Health care is a field with tremendous growth right now.

What do my top 5 strengths mean?

We Answered:

If you go to http://www.funeducation.com/
There is a free career aptitude test which asks you a series of questions and from your answers works out those same strengths such as the ones you listed above and applies them to what field of work they would be suited.

It's quite a long test though, 485 questions but it then gives you an indepth result. It took me maybe half an hour to complete.
