Career Job Change

Samuel Said:

Do you have a challenging and fun job?? I need to make a career change.?

We Answered:

No you are not SOL. I work in the financial services industry, I am licensed for insurance, mortgage and securities. I help families out of debt and also recruit to build my business and help others build theirs. There is a 6- 7 figure income that is obtainable and I am someone who was labled learning disabled when I was a kid. So you may have some limitations but you cant let that define you . The husband and wife that run our office have had serious set backs, the wife had MS and also stage 3 cancer and is now cancer free and they have built a business that makes them $120.000 a month. It kinda takes away all of our excuses.By the way I didn't go to school for this. All you need is to not be a felon and become licensed with insurance and eventually securities and lastly have a heart to help people financially and help them win in business.

Gabriel Said:

What is the one thing besides salary that you would change about your job, or career, and why?

We Answered:

It would be great not to have to supervise other employees. It takes all the energy out of me dealing with so much ridiculous personnel stuff (it's truly amazing to listen to some of the stuff employees come up with...).

Agnes Said:

Career / Job change?

We Answered:

not all jobs are created equal... and with that being said, no two employers are going to look at the union situation the same. certain industries have been notorious for having a union presence... like the UAW (united auto workers). in industries like these, the employer just expects that the employee will be a union member. and, that isn't always a negative for you. i can promise that no two employers will act the same way toward the union... in fact, some managers may have much better relationships with the unions. it would be worth asking about if you are switching jobs, but one thing is for certain... i can promise that if you do not at least try to find another position with another employer, you will always wonder if there was something better out there for you. it took 8 years to build what you did in this job, but every day showed you a limit to how far you'd be allowed to go. you don't know how far you can go in any company until you try, but you'll never find out if you don't leave the one you are in now. GOOD LUCK!

I want to become a real estate agent as a career change from a job that pays well but I'm not very happy doing?

We Answered:

When you get a real estate paycheck you look at it and you think to yourself, not one person on the face of the earth helped me get this paycheck.

That is the glory of real estate.

You are the soul cause of you getting a paycheck. How you get there is completely up to you. Your task is to sell a home. Figure it out what you need to do to accomplish the task and you will receive a paycheck of which you will share with your brokerage.
