I'm looking at changing career paths as I am currently unsatisfied with mine now?We Answered:
IT is networking, am I right? well, if it is then whoever told you that IT was "going the way of the dinosaur" is living in the 50's. Trust me, networking is always changing, just like anything technological nowadays. most computer-related jobs are on the rise and they will only get better. Like most jobs concerned with technology or electronics, however, they will get more complicated and that's the more reason why IT is really never going to go away. If it interests you, go with it! I'm sure someone was just pulling your leg.Vanessa Said:

hi mimi....I am looking for career change to physician assistant program. by the way when you searched for this program, what were the basic requirements for this? A high school graduate can do it or not? It is the best career I would say. The PA career is the growing and in-demand career in USA. Go for it. Go for any medical career like Nursing, physical therapist, occupational therapist. Best of Luck...Keep in touch..Joseph Said:
so im considering changing career paths...?We Answered:
Look at it like this, you've done a job that your parents loved you in. . .it got you some great experience and I'm assuming excellent references. Now it's time to tackle that dream of YOURS!!! If being a retail buyer is where your heart is at, at this point why the heck not go for it! You're still young enough that if you get into it and decide it's not what you want, you can either go back to banking or explore other opportunities.Go for it, live that deam!!!
Good luck!

How has the following career paths changed? A Plumber and Eletrician and a Photographer? We Answered:
Plumbing doesn't seem to have changed a whole lot. Probably more rules and regulations.Electricians have been changed some by all the demands caused by computers, fax machines, networks, etc. If the electrician is involved in wiring such networks or systems, there's a lot of new business.
Photography has gone digital. For the most part, film has been replaced by digitally stored photos. Now you can actually take 7 pictures of the bride, show them to her, and get her approval. If she doesn't like them, you take 7 more.
Darkrooms are gone, and computers with fancy printers are now in the backroom of the photographers studio. Also, everyone with a digital camera thinks that they can do as well as the professional. So there's more competition. Or less demand for the true professional.
