Cv Career Change
Judith Said:
is this a good CV, from which is the best way to choice a career path. what sort of jobs am i suited too.?We Answered:
Sunrose - I work in recruitment also, and it is incorrect that your education must go at the top - there is no hard and fast rule about this. If you're a recent graduate, so you have a good education but very little work experience, then yes, your education should probably go first, but in Russell's case I wouldn't advise this, as his recent experience is more relevant to the positions he is applying for (he has said in another question that he is applying for retail positions). But, in answer to the question ...
It's not bad. Under the RSPCA section, just have the main headings/bullet points, and leave out the information underneath it.
I don't think the education part is really detailed enough. Do you have any qualifications at all? Even GCSEs? It's just that it's not really clear what level you studied these subjects at.
Anyway, good luck, keep trying!

How can I get my foot in the door of the nutrition industry without any work experience? We Answered:
Yes. Buy some doc martins with steel toe caps and then just stick your foot in the door , then if they close it at least it wont hurt.Jared Said:

How do I cover for missing years of employment on my CV?We Answered:
Just say you were in good financial shape at the time and spent time hiking and exercising or whatever you like to do, research etc. If they are interested in hiring you, it won't matter what you say unless you tell them you were in prison,...lol.Glen Said:
i need advice regarding my CV?We Answered:
That was a terrible thing to say. Most of us make several different choices in careers. Not many people choose a career path at 5-years-old and really grow up to be a fireman and do that forever. Sometimes you can get a law degree and after practicing for a year decide to open your own bakery. My nieces and nephews have degrees and none of them work in the field of their degree. They all chose to do other things, but they got their degree. You can have more than one passion in life, you can have more than one skill. My best friend took 20 years to finally get her degree and she is still doing the same job she was when she started, just for a different library. The irony is that her degree isn't for the job she is doing either. You really have to learn how to stop giving people the power to put you down. You need to stand up for yourself more. I wonder if you could find a copy of the book Approval Addiction by Joyce Meyer. I think you would like her, and that book. It is certainly better to realize you don't enjoy a career path, than to get stuck for the rest of your life doing a job that makes you soooooo unhappy. Chase your own dreams. Maybe your ex teacher isn't happy with his job and that is why he said something so hateful.
