I want to change careers to become a financial advisor or stock broker, How can I get my foot in the door?

apply to a graduate business school and get a finance degree.
That would open the doors for sure. If not you can still take the CFA exam or the series 7 exam you need to be a stock broker.

How can I change careers to teach and have money to pay my bills?

First thing that came to my mind is perhaps you may consider some classes online. They fit around your schedule.

If you do not want to do a complete online training...then maybe some of them online and only one per sememster on ground?

What is the best way to change careers from....?

We Answered:

You should choose something you would do for free and then see what you need to get in that profession. Like find a pole and swing around it with one leg wrap around it. If you like it, take up dancing. Good money.

Depending upon how you have been employed in the hotel industry, it could be a big plus when trying to enter the marketing field. You have learned a lot about dealing with the public - and what the public wants.

Have you thought about looking for marketing work in the hotel industry? Or the travel industry? Use your work experience in conjunction with your college degree to make the transition a little easier. You're not giving up; you are looking to advance.

I want to change careers. Where can I find information on going back to school?

Great question. Returning to school after being away for a while can be intimidating. Fortunately, there are a lot of sites out there that offer information that can help ease the transition.

One site in particular is http://www.youshouldgotoschool.com . You'll find information on various careers and degree programs, as well as tips for finding financial aid.

Shirley Said:

How long would it take to change careers to become a physical therapist?

We Answered:

Below is a link to a website that should answer all your questions. As you already have a Bachelor's Degree maybe you can just take the medical courses needed such as Anatomy & Physiology, Medical Terminology, et al. With a minimum of training maybe you can get a job as a Physical Therapist (PT) assistant. You could definitely take med terminology at night. Best of luck and hope you go through with it as if you must work, might as well be happy.
