Looking For A New Career

Naomi Said:

I am looking for a new career in which I can travel. Any suggestions?

We Answered:

you could become a flight attendant but you could not take your child with you. how old is he? could he stay with family or a babysitter? my sis. became a flight attendant at the age of 46. her life long dream job!!!! her kids are grown and in college but that is one way to get your traveling in. good luck! not many jobs allow you to bring your child with you. that would not be cool. figure out babysitting for him.

I can sympathize with your very real situation .. I am going to throw something out here .. as an idea.. work from home .. be your own boss .. all the successful people live by the credo .. what ever you decide or path you take .. good luck to you !

This is an excellent business - run from home - proven track record - real business not get rich quick scheme . 150k+ members - been around several years now .. I have friends making over $20k a month .. the site below is total non hype review of all aspects of company, team, benefits, comp, resources, training etc.. there are some good bonuses just for looking.

Looking for a new career, But don't know what. Can you help please?

We Answered:

If you're really not sure what you want to do it's always a good idea to start with a skills assessment (similar to the one that you can take at learndirect.org) so that you can see what sort of jobs interest you and which don't. If you're in the UK you could also try your local careers office or the careers section in your local library to give you an idea.

Friends and family are also good to get advice and guidance as they know you and know whether or not you would suit a certain type of job (eg if you like working outdoors or would go crazy sat at a desk all day).

If you have any particular ambitions then I would suggest speaking to the relevant professional body (eg association or society) and find out what they suggest.

I'm looking for a new career. Is someone looking for a loyal, dependable and ethical employee?

We Answered:

You may want to look into the banking industry. Although you may not make as much.
I know a guy in the same field as you and he was telling me that the people that he worked with in Atlanta were making 500K per year. You will never make that much in banking unless you are the CEO.

I am looking for a new career. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions? ?

The HOTTEST job now is nurse. You can be CNA in1 year.

All colleges in california are 4 to 10: 1, so some schools do lottery, some schools do waiting list around 3 to 5 years to get in nurse program.

Nurse is very hot, many first year graduates get $80K/ year ,average $120,000 in CA.

But be aware, many hositals will cut nurse salary in next a few year, because so many lost jobs, no job means no insurance, they will not either seeking medical care or without paying bill, who can afford $14,000/year medical insurance for a family of 4.

And so many nurse graduates plus huge Filipino and Indian Nurses get licenses in US, If you don't do it in $25/hr, many are waiting up for the position.

I have my B.S. in CJ and 2 yrs experience as a police officer but im looking for new career, any ideas?

We Answered:

If you were interested in going back to school you could become a lawyer and be effective as either a district attorney or defense counsel. After all you speak cop and understand their methodology.

One of the men I clerked with at the DA's office in Orange County was a police officer in Garden Grove. His experience as a cop allowed him to know which questions to ask the cops and defendants on the stand. Depending on the state you live in now there are part time law school options which is a good option for a mother with young children.

Good Luck.
