Make A Career Change
Marcia Said:
Have you made or tried to make a career change after several years in the same field ?We Answered:
I am still young in the career-world, but in my experience, i have gone from one field to another within my career. Graduating from college as an english major, i started my career as a writer. Now i work for an internet marketing company, which has nothing to do with writing (hardly anything). So far it has been successful. The hardest part about it is that i lack the passion for this that i have for writing. But I know in time i will adjust and enjoy it more. Plus, the new skills i am learning will only strengthen my resume should any other changes come along.Albert Said:
Can a marketer make career change into investor relations? We Answered:
You may need a multi-year approach. Find a large company that has roles like the one you're looking for. Find an entry role there that you can do well based on your experience, and plan on transitioning over time into the place you want to be. By being in the company you'll be able to network in the group you're interested in by being able to find the key leaders in your corporate directory. You'll be able to have informational interviews that will make you very trusted, which can more than make up for lack of experience.Brittany Said:

How can I make a career change & a living as a photographer, also which photography schools are best?We Answered:
http://www.brooks.edu/This is a very good school.
Personally, I would not recommend photography as a career.
Photography is extremely competitive and only a few can make a real living at it.
Truck drivers, dentists, plumbers, and optometrists make far more money than the average photographer. Those professions are useful and physically productive. They help the common good.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with photography as a career but I think you will find it ultimately frustrating and a endless drain on your pocketbook. Most photographers do not break even.
